Gwen Cerutti Biography

Gwen Cerutti is a primarily self-taught multimedia artist who started painting in retirement, channeling her energy into art at a professional level. Her work depicts her love of the Northern Ontario landscapes and the ruggedness of the terrain.
Cerutti Creations is a line of one-of-a-kind scarves, shawls, and evening bags, beginning in 2006 after Cerutti was exploring her passion for textile arts.
Recent works include mixed media collages, needle-felted pictorial landscapes and photography.
Cerutti continues to learn about art and has participated in workshops by Jack Reid, Brian Atyeo, Ivan Wheale, Linda Finn, and Gord Mackenzie.
Cerutti is a member of the Sudbury Art Club, The Walden Art Club, Artists on Elgin, La Galerie du Nouvel-Ontario, the Art Gallery of Sudbury, and the Sudbury Crafts and Arts Foundation.
Cerutti’s work can be found at Artists On Elgin, the Art Gallery of Sudbury, Lafrance Furs, and at her home studio.
Gwen believes that art is perspective and invites to you have a look at the world through her eyes.
