‘Local Colour’ is the art sales and rental program of the Art Gallery of Sudbury, which was established over 10 years ago.We are very proud to carry more than a hundred unique pieces from over 30 Ontario based artists, most of whom reside within the Greater Sudbury district. Talk about local!
Perhaps you need an artwork only for a short period of time, or you like to have the option of changing a piece without committing to a purchase, or simply would like to test it in your house. Local Colour has plenty of beautiful Canadian artworks for rental. Whether it is for a film project, for an office space or simply to gift a one-of-a-kind piece, Local Colour offers a variety of paintings, drawings, graphite, and all sorts of mixed media for sale and rental.
We take pride in showcasing the talent of regional artists and making their work more accessible to our community. All the artworks can be viewed in our Local Colour online catalogue. As a COVID-19 precaution, if you wish to see some specific pieces in person to make a decision, you are welcome to give us a call to set a time with us to come in person.
