Exhibition Assistance
OAC Exhibition Assistance Grants...
As a recommender for the OAC exhibition assistance grants, the Art Gallery of Sudbury invites artists and crafts people to submit applications. Professional artists within Zone 5, as designated by the Ontario Arts Council, are eligible to apply. This includes Barrie, Hearst, Manitoulin, North Bay, Sault Ste. Marie, Sudbury and Timmins. Deadline for exhibition assistance:
September 24, 2010
Note: Should all funds not be dispersed after September, a second deadline
of January 21, 2011 will be set.
Requirements:
• artist's resume
• 10-12 slides/ digital/ dvd/ cd rom or videos
• artist biography
• exhibition budget
• letter of confirmation or contract
Funding is for eligible expenses up to a maximum of $1,500 per artist per fiscal year. A minimum grant level of $500 has been set. You may receive more then one exhibition assistance grant in any one OAC fiscal year (April 1- March 31), however each grant must be for a different exhibition and the total for the year cannot be more then $1,500.
