The Art Gallery of Sudbury is pleased to announce its partnership with the Laughing Buddha. Beginning in February, the Laughing Buddha will be an AGS off-sight venue, featuring the work of local artists.

The AGS will be working with Laughing Buddha management to select and install works of local artist to be on display for month long exhibitions.

Artists who are interested in this exhibition opportunity will need to submit a proposal as outlined below. For further information contact Krista Young, Operations Coordinator, at 675-4871 x222 or email kyoung@artsudbury.org.

Submission Policies

At the present moment we have an open call regarding submissions and may implement deadlines in the very near future.

Please provide the following information:

a) artist’s contact information; name, mailing address, telephone number, and email.
b) artist’s biography, and artist statement (tell us about yourself).
c) no original artwork in the submission
d) high quality photographic prints, digital prints (4 x 6 size), or digital images on a cd or dvd. (submit a support material list with visuals - name of artist, title of work, medium, and dimensions of original work)
or
e) 35 mm color slides, label the front of each slide with artists name, title of work, medium, dimensions of original. Indicate the top of the slide. (submit a slide list with visuals - name of artist, title of work, medium, and dimensions of original work)
or
f) Videotape/ cd- rom/ dvd excerpts for new media works

Submission packages may be delivered to the gallery in person or mailed to:

Submission packages can be picked up at the gallery or will be returned if stamped, with a self addressed envelope.
